Who wrestles?- Anyone can wrestle. The youngest age you can wrestle at for competition is 4 years old. Wrestling is also co-ed. (Until College) So this means if you are male you will wrestle a female who is in your own weight class. Typically until junior high you wrestle for clubs and travel on your own to tournaments. Why Wrestle?- Wrestling is much more then your average sport. I believe wrestling is the toughest sport out there. In wrestling you are the only one to praise in victory or shame your self in defeat. Wrestling is a one on one sport of combat. You have no team mate out on the mat to help you execute a move or to help defend an attack from your opponent. Also weight management there is no other sport that demands you to watch your weight.
